“The 2022 Château Moulin Riche is mostly Cabernet Sauvignon yet includes 25% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. This deep purple-hued effort offers gorgeous darker currants and plum fruits intermixed with smoky tobacco, graphite, and chocolaty notes. I love its overall balance, and it’s a classic, deep, rich, full-bodied 2022 with a round, layered mouthfeel, sweet tannins, and a great finish.”

“Rich and deep aromas of blackberries, dark chocolate, peppercorns and mussel shells. Flavorful and pretty full-bodied on the palate, with firm, dusty tannins and a long, compact finish. A complete St.-Julien that needs two more years in the bottle.”
Vinous Media – Antonion Galloni : 93 (29.01.2025)
“The 2022 Moulin Riche is such a deep wine. Black fruit, leather, licorice, incense, menthol and chocolate infuse the palate with striking depth. A wine of breadth and resonance, Moulin Riche has a ton to offer. Once again, an unusually high percentage of Petit Verdot gives the wine much of its distinctive personality.”

“The 2022 Moulin Riche has retained that slightly more high-toned bouquet on the nose with upfront, bold blackberry and blueberry fruit aromas. It’s more floral and concentrated than the Deuxième Vin. The palate is medium-bodied, with a silky-smooth texture and pliant tannins. It’s very harmonious with perhaps greater purity than I envisaged from barrel. This Saint-Julien comes recommended.”

“Another brilliant wine from the Cuvelier family, the 2022 Château Moulin Riche, it has a beautiful nose of cassis and blue fruits as well as subtle espresso, damp earth, and chocolaty nuances. Rich, medium to full-bodied, and structured, I was able to taste this beauty on multiple occasions, and it never failed to impress.”
Decanter – Gerogina Hindle : 91 (17.05.2023)
“Scented, sleek, almost soft and subtle – it’s so smooth and tempting, velvety-textured with well-integrated tannins, chalky but ripe and sweet fruit with lifted acidity that isn’t too high. Clove and dark chocolate nuances give the spice but this is generous and comfortable still with power and poise.”
